The RFI was presented to the European Union and African Union in collaboration with CAAST-Net Plus in Brussels, Belgium on September 28th, 2016. This event introduced the RFI as a system that validates and promotes fair research partnerships and supports EU-AU collaboration in research and innovation.
The results from the three RFI Workshops in Kenya, Nigeria and Senegal were deliberated at this conference by participants of the African workshops to assess the extent to which the RFI is a valuable and applicable tool for encouraging bi-regional collaboration in research and innovation.
