Gates Open Research has published an open letter on the RFI, written by Prof Jim Lavery and Prof Carel IJsselmuiden.

The letter discusses the RFI as a tool for improving research partnerships, as well as the early impacts of the RFI since its implementation in 2017. It also highlights some of the challenges in moving forward.
