COHRED is a non-profit organisation working towards building sustainable research for the past 27 years, specifically in the African continent. One of the COHRED’s offerings is the Research Fairness Initiative (RFI), which helps research organisations in Low-and Middle-income Countries to work towards fair research partnerships through implementing high-quality standards for collaborations related to research and development.

How We Use
Your Donation

Research Fairness Initiatives (RFI) mission is to build transparent research systems in institutions with limited resources and research capabilities. RFI is a subscription-based model - we charge a nominal fee based on the institution’s annual budget/income.

Learn about how donations will be spent

Your yearly donation can support an LMIC institution to pay their annual subscription to the RFI. The RFI facilitates transparent research collaborations and helps institutions to implement policies and practices that promote fair research partnerships. At the end of the year, the RFI team publishes data to show how many institutions in low-income countries were able to publish an RFI report with help of your donations.

We will publish your contribution on our year-end ‘Annual Report’.
